Area comparison in several BIST conditions

Post by iSTART »

Following comparisons show the MBIST’s area in different conditions.

Following table only show area of MBIST and MBISR and enable full function diagnosis only.
Therefore, the area’s increasing rate is higher than expectation.

Note:
 a. MBIST function with MARCH C+ and full function diagnosis
 b. MBIST and MBISR function with MARCH C+ , 2 ROW redundancy memory and hard-repair solutions (APB interface)
 c. MBIST and MBISR function with MARCH C+, 2 ROW redundancy memory, hard-repair solutions (APB interface) and full function diagnosis

The second comparisons show the MBIST area statistics in 16KB memory size. Normally, the MBIST and MBISR’s area increasing rate are 3% to 12% to whole memory of SoC.
