[Question] Currently, multi chain only support repair controller. Do you consider fulfilling multi chain to BIST controller? Even partial controllers are off power, other controllers still can work normally.
[Answer] BIST controller does not need multi chain. Multi chain is applied for transferring redundancy memory mapping information.
As for BIST controller’s memories, they do not have redundancy information need to be transferred. So BIST controller does not need to support multi-chain information.
